Barney the Admin and my goals

Pretty lofty, probably. Maybe even naive.

A place where Central Oregon residents (and visitors, heck we're not picky) can talk about the region's problems, issues, strong points and weak ones.

My emphasis will always be on possible solutions - weighing the pros and cons, the tradeoffs and costs (or cost-benefit-ratio) - bang for the buck, as it were.

I came up with the forum name years ago, when Bruce Bishop and a bunch of us were starting a speakers series - sort of like the more recent City Club forum, but less formal (or organized). If anyone knows how Bruce is doing or what he's up to, please advise.

Anyway, I want/hope to make this part of what KTVZ.COM offers, but in the meantime, I thought the best way to actually explain what I'd like is to show it - then invite a few friends to come in, kick the tires. And at the cost (none) from Forumotion, I couldn't resist.

I'll explain more about my background as the need warrants and the muse hits. In the meantime, enjoy!
